WHAT THIS IS:
52times52 is a boy and a girl who live in a tan house with dark greenish-blue shutters in New York. We resolved to give $52 a week to charitable causes for all 52 weeks of 2011--and we did it!

At last count, we are 23 givers strong, giving $657.37 to charity each week!
According to our pledges, we gave $19,973.38 in 2011!
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
In 2011, we thought it would be cool if 51 other people wanted to join us. We imagined: if there were 52 of us giving $52 to the same charity every Friday--that'd be just over $2,700 per charity! Almost $150,000 for the year!
This year, we're taking a different approach. We're still here to encourage others to consider a weekly $52 gift, and we encourage you to browse our posts from 2011 to see how we did it. And as the year progresses, we'll be checking in with less-frequent stories of the new places our giving journey is taking us.
